In India, there are three main food periods that produce different qualities and tastes. Specially known are Darjeeling First Flush teas, which mark the first harvest after the winter break and are harvested from the beginning of March to the end of April, depending on the altitude and climate. Second Flush is the summer harvest that takes place from May to June / July. In contrast to the first flush, this black tea has a fuller note and a stronger flavor. It is characterized by the wonderful nutty taste and the copper-colored cup color. The third harvest season brings out the Darjeeling Autumnal. The leaf grading TGFOP means Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe, which is a leaf tea that contains many leaf tips and is of very high quality.
