Melon Mule with sparkling wine


Infuse the Black Tea Melon Sprizz with 100°C hot water for 3-4 minutes. Refine the hot tea with coconut blossom sugar and let it cool down in the fridge.

Cut the melons and strawberries into pieces and squeeze the lime juice. Peel and slice the fresh ginger. Divide the fruit with the ginger into 2 glasses, add lime juice and tea. Just before serving pour the sparkling wine over it. Decorate with fresh mint leaves and enjoy with ice cubes. (Recipe & photo by Lisa Hauser, Koch mit Herz)

Alternative: instead of fresh ginger you can also use ginger beer.

  • 200ml Water
  •  200ml sparkling wine
  • 100g Watermelon
  • 200g Honeydew
  • 4 strawberries
  • 5 slices Ginger
  • 4tblsp. sugar
  • 1 lime
