Green Matcha Cookies

Matcha kekse

Mix all ingredients and knead to dough. The amount of Matcha can be varied according to taste or preferred color. Leave covered in fridge for 30 minutes. Roll out dough about 2mm thin and bake in preheated oven with 160-170°C until golden and the green still noticeable.

Optionally refine with Matcha lemon icing. Mix powdered sugar with matcha, hot water and juice of one lemon. Use to decorate cookies and let dry.

You need:

  • 20g Matcha powder
  • 250g flour
  • 100g butter
  • 110g powder sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1pkg. vanilla sugar
