Chinese Steamed Bread with Meat

Thaw yeast dough and allow to rise covered for 30 minutes. For the filling fry ground meat with chopped garlic and grated ginger. Add soy sauce, rice wine, starch and seasoning. Divide dough into 8 pieces, flatten and fill with 1-2 tbsp filling. Form balls and steam in basket on salt water for 15-20 minutes

For 4 servings you need:

  • 600 g yeast dough
  • 500 g ground meat
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3-4 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2-3 tbsp rice wine
  • 2 tbsp starch
  • Salt and pepper
  • Pinch of Cayenne pepper and sugar
