Tearamisu
Whisk egg yolks with powdered sugar and slowly add mascarpone.Whisk egg whites with caster sugar and fold into cream. Soak ladyfingers in cold tea and cover the bottom of the pan. Alternately layer cream and ladyfingers. Finish off with cream and chill for 2 to 3 hours. Cut in squares and serve dusted with cocoa powder.
For 6 servings you need:
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- 60g powdered sugar
- 40g caster sugar
- 1/2 kg mascarpone
- 30 ladyfingers
- 1/4 L Irish Dram Tea
- Cocoa powder to serve
